Referral from Your Doctor and Insurance
I do not have an agreement with the public health insurance system in Denmark (I do not have a provider number), which means you cannot use a doctor’s referral with me. However, you are welcome to attend sessions and pay privately, even if you have a referral.
You may instead want to check whether you have private health insurance or insurance through your workplace that covers psychological treatment fully or partially.
Many workplaces and private insurance plans provide financial support for psychological help — or even cover the full cost. Contact your insurance provider or employer to find out whether you are covered.
Late Arrival
If you arrive later than the agreed appointment time, it will unfortunately not be possible to extend the session.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Cancellation or changes to an appointment must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled time, preferably as soon as possible, either by phone or SMS.
The full session fee will be charged for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment. This also applies in cases of illness or non-attendance.
Privacy Policy
As a psychologist, I am bound by confidentiality. This means that I do not share information from our conversations with others unless you have given your consent.
According to Danish healthcare legislation, I am required to keep records of our sessions. These records are stored securely in electronic form and in locked archives. The information is stored for up to 5 years after your last consultation and is then deleted in accordance with applicable regulations.
You have the right at any time to access the information I have registered about you. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), I am obligated to inform you of this.
